Chao and Company
Wen Chao is back and better than ever. That is to say he's acting like a lot less of a dick. That's what happens when you feel yourself die in four whole universes! Trauma and death have humbled this notorious brat, and now he wants to do whatever he can to stay out of harm and trouble's way. While his 'remorse' stems from not wanting to re-experience the pain of death rather than actual guilt, the more he interacts with the people around him, the more he realizes there's things to live for and ways to make friends. He gradually starts feeling worse and worse for what he's done, in turn becoming a better person, or trying to. But he'll always be a brat! And a vain one at that!
The universe has granted him three companions: a baby version of himself, who is always smiling and unaware of the evils of the world, a tiny gremlin version of himself, which may very well be a mischievous fragment of his soul, and Minmo, a very fluffy orange and white cat.
He lives just outside the quasi-abandoned Nightless City, in a humble little house, attempting to grow a garden and selling old trinkets and treasures to survive.
Whether or not he has weird undead supernatural powers is yet to be seen.
As of June 2020, he is getting married to Mo Xuanyu, lives with him and his mother, is expecting a baby to hatch from an egg and has been reunited with his childhood pet, Skullcrusher, as well as his ex-wife Jinju who visits from time to time. Things are looking up.
As of July 2020, he and Mo Xuanyu are married and have a beautiful baby girl named Liqiu. Shen Jiu of Scum Villain infamy lives with them, and they all contribute to the household and the garden. They have plans of opening a restaurant in 2021, where hopefully they'll be able to serve the friends they've made along the road here.
